LE PRINTEMPS DES POETES A ISA / SPRING OF THE POET AT ISA

Cette semaine, nous avons beaucoup travaillé sur le thème du "printemps des poêtes".
Nous avons écrit des ACROSTICHES et nous l'avons décoré.


Nous avons fabriqué un livre avec tous les poèmes des CP/CE1 francais et espagnols.
Nous avons écouté plusieurs parents nous réciter des poèmes : en anglais (Kate Frenzinger), en Tcheque (Darina Signeski), en arménien (maman de Celine Badoux en PS), en allemand (Leo Peplinski).
Nous avons écouté Cécile Pereira nous chanter sa chanson "les papillons".

Nous sommes allés réciter nos poèmes dans la classe des PS.
Les GS sont venus réciter deux poèmes.

This week we have worked on the theme of "Spring poets."
We wrote acrostics and we decorated them.
We made a book with all the 1st and 2nd graders' poems.
We listened to many parents who told poems in English (Kate Frenzinger) in Czech (Darina Signeski), Armenian (Celine Badoux's mum French Section B) and German (Leo Peplinski).
We listened to Cécile Pereira who sung her song "Butterflies".
We went to read our acrostics to the French section B.
The French Kindergarden came to recite two poems.

FIELD TRIP AT BUTTERFLY WONDERLAND

 

 

Vendredi dernier, 7 Mars, nous sommes allés en sortie au "Butterfly Wonderland".
C'était vraiment très intéressant.
Avant d'entrer dans le Butterfly Conservatory, nous avons regardé un film en 3D "vol des papillons" dans un auditorium, puis nous nous sommes arrêtés dans une salle où il y a des chrysalides. Nous avons vu beaucoup de variétés de papillons.

Nous avons également visité l'exposition sur les colonies de fourmis et sur les abeilles. C'était magique!
Nous avons terminé la visite dans l'aquarium de poissons de l'Amazonie, y compris les anguilles et autres poissons exotiques colorés.
Nous avons appris sur les étonnants poissons "Amazon Pacu" connus pour leurs dents ressemblant à des humains.
Et nous avons aussi pu toucher des raies motoro.

Last Friday, March 7th, we went on fieldtrip at "Butterfly Wonderland".
It was really interesting.
Before entering the Butterfly Conservatory, we enjoyed a 3D film "Flight of the Butterflies" in a Theater and then we stopped at the Chrysalis Emergence Lab. We saw lot's of different varieties of Butterflies. We also visited the Ant Colony Exhibit, and the Honey Bee Exhibit. It was magical !
We finished the tour in the aquariums house intriguing fish from the Amazon, including eels and other colorful exotic fish.
We learned about the amazing Amazon Pacu fish known for its human-like teeth.
And wee were able to touch Motoro stingrays.

Today, we celebrated "CRAZY HAIR DAY" at ISA.
 

AND WE ALSO WELCOMED JULIANA WITH A LITTLE PARTY.

We finished our ART project !

Here is the description :

Name : Peace in the jungle
Class : French second grade
Theme/Inspiration : This year focus in art was about "color".
After working about complementary colors and harmonies of the colors, the students created different pieces of art using their own imagination and inspiration.
Art Medium :
We used 36  4x4canvas with different heights
Acrilyc paint
